Herds of plains game, topie and eland, excellent birding

Uganda public reserve

Lake Mburo

Lake Mburo is the smallest if Uganda's national parks but shares often big herds of zebra, impala, buffalo, topi and eland with neighbouring plains in Tanzania.

Rare Roan antelopes, leopards, hyenas and jackals are found amongst its 68 species of mammal.

Bird viewing opportunities are excellent with over 300 species. Lake Muburo is one of the best places to find African fin foot and papyrus bush shrike.
