Traditional safari style harks bark to the golden era of luxury

Masai Mara camp

Cottars 1920s Safari Camp

Link

The tradition of Cottar's luxury tented camp dates back to 1919 when the family started its safari adventures. The camp is still family run and aims to reflect the spirit and style of the early experience. The hillside location provides fine views across the Mara, close to the Serengeti border.

Luxury, quality, comfort and excellent dining are provided along with memorable game-viewing - night drives included. Situated in a private concession, it is one of the few smaller camps to offer a swimming pool.

Tents are spacious and well furnished, with a number of antiques dating back to the early days. All are en-suite with a private verandah and dressing room.
