Elsa's Kopje

Elsa's Kopje is named after its location - a favourite spot for Joy Adamson's famous lionness above George Adamson’s original campsite. The lodge blends into the rocky crags of Mughwango Hill deep inside Meru Mational Park, with views on every side.

The lounge, bar and dining area open out to an infinity pool looking out over the volcanic plains.

Open-plan cottages - with double or twin bedrooms - take full advantage of the hillside position with extensive views across the park. The honeymoon suite is a large open-faced cottage with private sitting room, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a small private deck. There is some capacity of extra child beds to be added, up to a maximum of 4 across the camp.

The lodge has a special licence to walk, fish, and conduct night game drives. The extensive rhino sanctuary provides excellent specilaist viewing.

Elsa's Private House is a spacious and stylish hideaway set slightly apart from the main lodge. It has 1 double room and 1 twin, each with its own ensuite bathrooms. The large private living and dining area leading onto the private garden and swimming pool. Two extra beds may be added for children.
