On top of the Falls, rainforest and game viewing, packed with adrelin activities

Zimbabwe town

Victoria Falls Town

Link

At its highest in April and May, Victoria Falls is the biggest sheet of water anywhere in the world - spanning close to 2 kilometres with a drop from 80-106 metres.

The town was built around tourism with the arrival of the railway, next to Victoria Falls national park over the First Gorge. The rainforest, rich with birdlife, is testament to the high levels of spray which frequently obscures views.

Adrenlin activities are a major feature of the town. Visitors can bunjee jump from the bridge, whitewater raft, microlight over the Falls and a whole lot more.

Game viewing by canoe on the upper river is complemented by good game viewing in Zambesi national park and day trips or longer to Hwange.
