Traditional tented safari camp on the edge of the forest, combining comfort with excellent guiding
The intimate camp combines luxury with tradition on the edge of the forest in the Ol Choro Oiroua group ranch, with an emphasis on excellent game-viewing with Maasai guides.
Lounge and dining areas look out over a lawned grove looks on the edge of the Mara plains, alongside luxury en-suite tents, which may be augmented with an extra bed or even two for small children. A beautifully furnished, cosy sitting room boasts a roaring log fire for cooler evenings.
Camp dining is supplemented by the expereince of 3-course bush dinners under the stars. For an unusual treat, guests can book the open-air Victorian bath - discretely, and safely, located in the forest bush with candles and all that nature has to offer.
Local conservation work includes support for a professionally trained local ranger force to protect wildlife and minimise community conflicts. An elephant monitoring programme helps combat crop raiding and retaliation on the boundaries of the Masai Mara conservation areas.
Closed in May & November
