Golden Gate
Golden Gate sits at the Northern end of the Drakensberg. The striated red and yellow sandstone scenery is vibrantly colourful - particularly in the warm light of the setting sun. The surrounding National Park marks out a range of trails for ramblers. The impressive population of birds of prey includes the Bearded Vulture (Lammergeyer) with a 3m wingspan. There are a couple of mid-range full board accommodation options.
