Funzi Keys
The Funzi Keys, an exclusive hideaway, is tucked away on an unspoilt island in the Indian Ocean. Its unique appeal is luxurious seclusion and beautiful natural scenery - superbly located on a west-facing beach with glorious views of the African sunset. 9 spacious cottages - on the high-water line - of stone and thatch have large netted windows open to the balmy sea breezes. Each room has a hand carved king-sized 4-poster bed, local wooden artefacts and colourful fabrics, plus sea view jacuzzi.
Funzi Island is part of a small archipelago of mangrove covered islands, boasting unspoilt beaches away from the crowds.
The beaches provide nesting sites for a variety of marine turtles, including leatherback, hawksbill and green turtles.
