Spectacular wild scenery, prolific wildlife, endangered species and outstanding lodges
Laikipia's vast plains stretch from the slopes of Mount Kenya to the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley and the edge of Kenya's northern deserts.
Wild, diverse and scenically spectacular landscapes offer solitude, freedom and space. Wildlife densities in the Laikipia and Ewaso region are second only to the Masai Mara ecosystem. Horse riding is available, as is a camel trek.
The local Ewaso ecosystem supports more endangered species than anywhere in Kenya. The region is home to Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, wild dog and the only viable group of Lelwel hartebeest in the country.
