Kruger North
The lesser visited Northern region is well worth including in a Kruger trip. The impressively large and ancient trees are matched by the impressive dimensions of the wildlife - large-tusked elephants and lion-sized leopards!The relative isolation is an attraction in itself but other draws include the Fever Tree Forest en route for Crooks Corner on the border, the spectacular Lanner Gorge and local cultural visits.
